Michael is a seasoned business accounting and engineering professional. He is currently the Energy lead at CIG Zambia. He previously worked as Audit Manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers and as Financial Controller-International Operations for National Grid Plc. Michael also worked as Managing Director for Corporate Development at Copperbelt Energy Corporation Plc and was responsible for implementing CEC Plc’s growth strategy as well as identifying potential growth areas in the energy sector in Zambia and abroad. He also worked for Marconi Corporation Plc. Michael currently sits on several boards including Batoka Energy Holding Limited, Zambian Energy Corporation (Ireland) Limited, Zambian Energy Corporation Limited, CEC-Kabompo Hydro Power Limited and Madison Asset Management Company.

Ian is a skilled and experienced Business Consultant with a demonstrated history of working in General Insurance, Life & Health Assurance and Pensions industry having parlayed from being an HR and Industrial Relations Business Partner. Ian is passionate about business re-engineering, strategic planning, corporate governance, high performing organizations, Change management, Customer Care, inclusive insurance and alternative sustainable energy solutions. Ian has also been involved in two green field startups Companies, namely Hollard Insurance and Hollard Life. Ian is a Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resources Management, an Associate member of the Insurance Institute of Lusaka and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrations. Shipango  is  an Insurance, Reinsurance and Marketing Executive, Practitioner and Consultant, with over 39 years of hands-on experience in insurance, inclusive insurance, reinsurance, risk management, business management and insurance and services marketing, in the Eastern & Southern African insurance and reinsurance industry, managing and working with diverse teams across Africa and a training specialist in insurance and reinsurance, risk management, business and customer relationship management with a specific focus on service excellence and business reengineering. A Chartered Insurer with the Chartered Insurance Institute of the UK, Fellow of the Insurance Institute of Zambia, an Associate of the Zambia Institute of Marketing, a member of the Institution of Fire Engineers, and Master of Science in Marketing from the University of Salford, UK, who has over the years worked in various capacities both in technical and management positions and served on various boards of companies and associations in the financial services industry.

Lemmy is an inclusive finance expert and has 25 years of professional experience in research, training and project management of financial inclusion projects with various international organisations. Lemmy provides technical assistance and management services to various international developmental organizations, insurance companies and other financial service providers; specialising in financial inclusion, inclusive insurance, financial education microfinance, informal finance, digital financial services, gendered financial inclusion, private sector development, business development services, value chain development, market development and small enterprise development. He has published numerous works on microfinance, microinsurance and small enterprise development. He is an alumna of the Harvard Kennedy School program, Rethinking Financial Inclusion: Innovation for Policy and Practice. His professional experience for long and short-term assignments has mainly been in North, South, Central and East Africa as well as Asia and Europe. He has a Master’s Degree (MA) in International Development from University of Manchester, United Kingdom and Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Economics and Demography from the University of Zambia
